Last Night I slept over my friends house, and even though we were supposed to be sleeping, we ended up talking far into the night. We talked about everything. It feels good to be able to spill your soul once and a while. When was the last time you told someone your secrets and regrets? Are you one of those people that don't trust others enough to tell them your story?

i tell my story to the whole world, but not outright. i write them down. i write fictional stories, but my own story is woven throughout. the thoughts and emotions of the characters are things that i have thought and felt before. many of the characters' experiences are similar to my own. it's amazing how imagination and reality can be merged together.
I've actually only told the real story to one person. All of the real story anyways.
I'll hint at it sometimes but it's not worth the questions I'll get.
The real story is what makes me so cynical, but since I can't tell anyone I just seem semi-out of it. You know, the 'has-a-lot-of-friends-but-still-feels-empty'. People just shake if off as if that feeling can go away. I'll try but it really never does...
...and now I'm ranting... you really don't want to get me started about the real story. I started my blog posting about it but it took too much energy... there's a poem not too far back but I've never actually told anyone about it. So technically, most of the real story.
...again ranting... sorry.
griffinrider, its great that you have your writing to be able to express yourself. Some people struggle to talk about how they feel and don't know how to convey themselves so easily.
Kat, don't apologized for anything you say here, you can say whatever you want and rant as much as you want. I don't want you to feel like you have to restrict yourself, and you definitely don't have to apologize about speaking your mind.
